·       What elements of garage band and podcast skills have you used?

I used two types of instruments in my podcast music track from the behind. I used Elec Piano as one using love synth. This instrument was sad, and it did have a little upbeat to the tune. I also used different types of string instruments to make the dramatic parts of the podcast, which I think allows me to grab the audiences’ attention. I had to use the volume for each instruments and minimise them to make sure the narrating was properly heard, I made sure to fade out the music in the end. I made sure to give dramatic evidence entry so that it went well with the story, like using the strings new type in every single recording of another person.

·       Why did you choose this topic, reasoning behind your choice?

I chose Keith Warren’s case because this case had so many possible outcomes and also a lot of information. I found quotes that would help me be more factual than opinionated, this helped me communicate and engage more audience. I used two types of instruments in garage band after 1 week of searching through, I found Elec piano and some string instruments that I thought helped bring out the meaning I intended my final work. I also chose this case because it had been classified as suicide while it was actually a murder, this got me thinking that to prove it was a murder would be a good topic because it would want audience to keep listening engaging them into my podcast, therefor success. I also chose this topic because it was a murder mystery of over 20 years ago, and I found it interesting how science has been able to classify it as murder from all this time, it really shows our advanced technology.

·       The length and justify in relation to meaning/communication.

The meaning of this case to me was keep believing and trying. Keith had been dead but his mother had still had the faith that he would not suicide and as it was he was murdered, she kept trying, they made justice sites and went to many high officials. This was because she had faith, and she was correct after her years worth of fighting she knew going to her grave that her son was not a suicide case but murder mystery, this she left her daughter to carry on. This also has another meaning “the things in front of you might not always be right” and “never give up”. This story communicates this by the indulging questions that are asked to the police investigation, after all Keith wasn’t the first to be ruled a Suicide case.

·       The necessity for any recording?

I worded my script so it fit with my genre into podcast, I had to make sure it was able grab attention so when in my script there was a part that required dramatic music I would put it so that it was during when I was recording it but that it wasn’t so that it completely faded my voice behind it. Fore some of the parts where I needed a male voice, I either used my friends voice and adjusted in garage band and other apps to make it sound a little more like a males. But where I couldn’t and needed a different voice I simple recorded “this Is what Marry Couey stated” This not only made it easier but it also seemed to make more factual.
